Marks and Spencer has made a long-awaited return to Paris, giving British expatriates in France a new store to buy their favourite products from.
Marks and Spencer have not had a presence in France for over a decade, as they suddenly closed all their French stores ten years ago. However, they have now made a triumphant return with the opening of a three-storey flagship store in the heart of Paris.
Located at 100 Avenue des Champs-Élysées, the 1,400sq.m store stocks clothing and food from the Marks and Spencer range. The flagship store is also set to be followed by three more stores in Paris, and two more in other parts of France.
Marks and Spencer chief executive Marc Bolland said: “Marks & Spencer has great brand awareness here in France and a place in customers' hearts. We're very excited to be returning with an e-commerce and retail offer to delight customers with our full range of clothing and home products, and the exceptional food from our Paris store.”
